Which is the Best Airline to Fly from the US?

Whenever you fly out of U.S, you tend to look for the best airline to book your tickets. But do you actually know which is the best airline to fly?

There are many fliers who prefer to fly with a particular airline and become loyal to them. They think that the airline provides the best of service and is not that expensive. They also swear that their so-called favorite airline never cancels flights at the last minute. But in an industry that keeps changing along with new companies cropping up with new baggage fees and restrictions, it becomes very difficult to choose a particular airline as the best performer.

When everyone is looking for the best airline to fly, there is one man that already has the answer. He is none other than Brent Bowen, who is a renowned professor of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University who publishes the definitive Airline Quality Rating (AQR). He released a report that was made from the data collected in 2018 from the US Transportation Department.

The airlines were evaluated on the basis of four categories like mishandled baggage, performance of the carriers, complaints from any customer and involuntary denied boardings.

According to the reports, Delta, Alaska, JeBlue and Southwest Airlines rule the American skies, while budget airlines like Frontier, Spirit and Allegiant needs require some improvement to climb up the ladder. According to our third annual survey of the best and worst domestic airlines, all the US airlines are making an improvement when it comes to services like how they looking after baggage, dealing with the large number of complaints they receive and managing overcrowded flights. There is deterioration only in the proper arrival of flights on time. The number of flights that arrive late are gradually increasing due to any technical faults in the computer or bad weather.

You can go through the ranking of all the airlines by AQR below :

9. Frontier- Frontier Airlines was reported to have the maximum number of complaints. It was listed as the worst airline in the report with a minimum score. Frontier is said to have canceled the maximum number of flights and have denied the largest number of boardings. Moreover, the airline is recorded to have the maximum number of accidents against the number of times it had operated in the skies. It also got the title of the cheapest airline ,though in this case , it was not an achievement as it has been ranked as the worst overall.

8. American- American Airlines has attained the eighth position in spite of having so many large destination airports along with great lounges and a high frequent-flyer rating. There are few loyal customers who still prefer to fly with American Airlines. If you are one of them, you can book your next flight by calling on American Airlines Contact Number 1-716-300-5981.

7. Spirit- Spirit Airlines was reported to serve only a limited number of destinations. It was another budget airline that was listed as the least comfortable and its frequent-flyer program attained he second worst position.

6. United- Chicago-based United Airlines was given the sixth position for reasons as timeliness but gained brownie points because of its multiple number of lounges and the number of involuntary bumps last year.

5. Hawaiian- Hawaiian Airlines was always preferred by customers because it was known for always taking you to your destination on time. The only problem with the airlines was that it did not operate or serve those destinations, at least compared to its other bigger rivals.

4. Alaska- On the other hand, Alaska Airlines has fallen all the way from first to fourth. The Seattle-based carrier had quite a good and positive on-time rating and gave average performance in almost every regard except the size of its route and lounge networks.

3. Southwest- Among all the airlines, Southwest had the lowest number of customer complaints, which was nothing unusual whereas Frontier had the maximum number of complaints. Southwest airlines mainly suffered because of its relatively minimalistic cabin features, and very few on-time arrivals and cancellations, but Southwest clearly emerged as the winner when it came to ancillary fees. The airlines also have a number of loyal followers that gave it a way higher rating than anyone else due to great customer-satisfaction.

2. JetBlue- Among other airlines, JetBlue was voted as the most comfortable airline due to its facilities that it provides to its passengers, like free Wi-Fi, extra legroom and complimentary snacks and beverages. (JetBlue Reservations)

1. Delta- Delta was the one and only carrier that has outshined in all four categories and has, as a result, has climbed up to the first position from the second. If you are one of them, you can book your next flight by calling on Delta Airlines Contact Number 1-716-300-5981.

From the above list, you can draw a conclusion that Delta is considered the best airline to fly in the U.S owing to its title that it has achieved from the reports given by U.S Airline Quality Rating (AQR). The airline promises to continue satisfying its customers by providing the best of services.
